Elegant, Sophisticated Townhome on Los Altos Border

Enjoy the home and the setting of this beautifully updated townhome located on the Los Altos border. With only one adjoining wall, and three walls of windows that pour in sunlight, this home feels like a well-appointed private single family home. 2080 Marich is a popular and beloved townhome neighborhood to call home--beautifully landscaped, with a pool and clubhouse to enjoy. The bright and cheery home welcomes you from the moment you open the front door. The focal point of the sunny vaulted ceiling living room is a newly tiled fireplace with a dramatic mantle. From there step out to the beautifully landscaped patio whose desirable feature is a gate that leads to the convenient parking area adjacent.

The extensively updated home offers an attractive new kitchen, featuring some new appliances, new cabinets with quartz countertops, and LED recessed lights. A beautiful place to cook that special meal.

Both bathrooms have been redone to today’s buyer’s high standards. The bath on the first floor has new chic tile on the floor and in the tub surround, a stylish new vanity with wall-mounted faucets, plus new fixtures and lights. The upstairs bathroom has also been extensively remodeled with only the shower untouched. New vanity, lights, and tile flooring complete this lovely bathroom

The 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with a separate office area on the landing features a downstairs bedroom plus another upstairs with a large walk-in closet. There are newly installed engineered English Oak-style flooring, carpeting in the upstairs bedroom and office area. A laundry area is conveniently located just off the entry. The one car garage is steps away.

This inviting home is served by Mountain View Los Altos School district, including Los Altos High School which is about a half mile away, Bubb Elementary School, and Graham Middle School.  The Village of Los Altos, downtown Mountain View, and Whole Foods are all close.

2080 Marich Way #1

Tech workers and families flock to Mountain View for its easy access to public transit, lively business district, and proximity to many of Silicon Valley’s biggest companies. The city also offers numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation, including 700-acre Shoreline Park. Downtown Mountain View centers on Castro Street and is home to an array of restaurants, bookstores, cafes, and nightlife establishments, making it a popular destination for Peninsula and South Bay residents. Mountain View is also home to the Computer History Museum, the Mountain View Center for Performing Arts, and a 70,000-square-foot library. The city of 78,000 boasts two Caltrain stations, one of which is a “baby bullet” express stop, as well as Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority light-rail and bus service. Commuting to San Jose and other Silicon Valley cities is convenient on public transit or via HIghway 101 and state Route 85. Of the city’s 33,881 housing units, around 42 percent are owner occupied, according to 2013 United States Census Bureau data. The median household income is $97,000, and the median home value is $789,000. Many major companies, such as Google, LinkedIn, and Intuit, are headquartered in Mountain View. The Moffett Federal Airfield and NASA Ames Research Center are located north of the city.
